Brent Hartinger's Geography Club banned in University Place, WA. Interestingly enough, NOT because it's about a high school club for gay boys, but because it doesn't adequetely address the dangers of meeting someone that you met on the internet... right...

Art Spiegelman and Chip Kidd's Jack Cole and Plastic Man : Forms Stretched to Their Limits unsuccessfully challenged in Montgomery County, TX public libraries, for being lewd and pornographic.

Marilyn Reynolds's Detour for Emmy challenged in Granbury TX, for scenes and teenage sex, even though this is a cautionary tale on why teenagers shouldn't have sex, written by a teacher for at-risk kids.

Stephen Chobsky's The Perks of Being a Wallflower was unsuccessfully challenged in Montgomery County TX public libraries, but also outright banned in schools in the ENTIRE state of Arizone. Which is crazy.
